Gift certificates, self-made hand crafts, baby-sitting offer, a home cooked meal, pledge a donation to their favorite charity in their name, offer house cleaning services (windows?), yard tasks (shoveling, spring bulb planting, raking) ... These kind of gifts can be so much more useful and appreciated than unwanted cologne/perfumes or fruit cakes. Save and re-use your holiday wrapping paper for next year...Recycled wrapping paper can be used for smaller items (stocking stuffers...).
