Clock at Savin Hill
Discussions have been underway over the past several months to have a clock installed outside of the new Savin Hill Train Station. It has been discussed that this clock would be a memorial clock, similar to the Duchaney clock on Neponset Avenue.

Representative Martin Walsh has organized the initial committee meeting to be held on Wednesday, February 16th, 6:30 p.m. at the McGlaughlin Center, 3rd floor board room.

At this meeting we will discuss the level of interest in this initiative and formally organize a group that will move forward with this effort. We encourage anyone interested in being involved to come to this meeting.

Questions please call Rep. Walsh at (617) 722-2188 or Anne Riley at (617) 825-9859.

St. William's Church Site Committee
The CSHCA has established a committee to prepare for the re-use of the St Williams Church property. There will be a report at the next association meeting and we will schedule an open meeting at St William School in early February to begin working with the community. (Date of that meeting not yet set.) The civic association has no position on the closing of the parish, only a focus on the re-use of the site. Anyone interested in joining the committee and/or attending the meeting should check our committee Page for the meeting date, time and location. Click here for the St. William's Church Site Committee page.
