Caroling Event, Tuesday, Dec. 12, 5:30 – 7 PM, with a rain date of Wed. Dec. 13
- We would like to hold this stationary event in the front yard of Cristo Rey.
- It is a busy area with local businesses, so there should be plenty of passers-by to sing to.
- Heidi has emailed Rosemary Powers to request permission. She will follow up with a request for a possible electric outlet for a table top tree.
- The carols can be accessed online in a Google Doc. Heidi will create a QR code for people to access the carols with their phones.
- We have 13 booklets from last year. Heidi will send Michelle the pdf file to print 10 more. We will get together at a later date to assemble them.
- There are plenty of cocoa and coffee packets, hot cups, plates, napkins, candy canes, and decorative paraphernalia, etc., so there is no need to purchase more.
- Alix and Michelle will bring their tables.
- Alix will bring the hot water.
- Michelle has a 4-foot table top Christmas tree we can display.
- There were a lot of goodie bags left over from the Christmas Tree lighting. Alix will confer with Des Rohan if we should give them out at the caroling event.
- Flyers
- Heidi will update the flyer from last year with current information once the location is confirmed.
- Michelle is willing to print them for posting.
- In the meantime, we can post a “save the date” announcement on Instagram and Facebook.
- Santa possibilities:
- Ask Des Rohan, who currently has the Santa suit.
- Ask Bill Walczak, who has come to sing at this event in the past.
- Ask Des to put out a call for volunteers to be Santa.
- Alix will bring T-shirts and any left-over wreaths from the Beautification Committee to sell.
Accessing Events Committee Emails
- Alix got a login portal and test email from Taufiq, who set up the BizLand email to redirect to her personal email.
- Can it be set up to forward to the whole Events committee via a created Google Group? Alix will check with Taufiq on this.
CSHCA Bowling Night
- Alix has not heard back from Boston Bowl and may need to go down in person.
- CSHCA members will be invited and will need to RSVP to attend, so we have an accurate number to give to Boston Bowl for pricing and lane reservations.
- This event may end up taking place in February.
