Elections: Nominations for officers and executive committee members of CSHCA will be taken at the April meeting. (MIKE SZKOLKA will provide more).

Updates: There is much discussion going on about K Circle/Morrissey Boulevard and BPDA proposed zoning changes. We really need to be paying attention. Thankfully, CSHCA has a Government Affairs Committee that is doing just that, and you will hear a report at the meeting.
At the March meeting, there was a short discussion on the state’s effort to have fossil fuel based heating systems replaced by electric heat pumps, for which there are $10,000 rebates available. Following the meeting, there was some interest in having CSHCA sponsor a meeting for those interested in hearing from neighbors who have had heating systems replaced, and from Mass Save, the organization which provides the rebates. If there is enough interest, CSHCA will schedule such a meeting. If you are interested in participating in such a meeting, please send a note to billwalczak@gmail.com.

The 40th Annual Savin Hill Neighborhood Cleanup (Savin Hill Park, Patten’s Cove, and along the Expressway) will be held Saturday April 6 (rain date April 7).

Your busy Civic Association has committees focused on staging fun events, developing a public health agenda, beautifying the neighborhood, making our streets safer, building a stronger community and ensuring that residents have a role in how development happens. Your participation makes your community better and stronger.
