20 Pearl Street: Proponent seeks to change the legal occupancy from two to three residential units. No change to floor plans (sprinkler system to be installed). April 1st General Membership Meeting 
243D Savin Hill Avenue: Proponent will present their proposal to build a single family home on a vacant lot on Morrissey Boulevard and Savin Hill Ave. Proponent had an abutter’s meeting on July 30, 2019 and presented at the November 2019 Planning Meeting and at the December 2019 General Membership Meeting where the proposal was Opposed because of concerns about its overall size, height, environmental impact and concerns from abutters. Planning voted to recommend OPPOSITION to the General Membership due to abutter opposition, concerns overall size, height, and amount of usable living space. Concerns about environmental impact and fire access were also cited.

Tuesday February 27th The Boston Landmarks Commission held its monthly hearing at which the proposed demolition of 33 Pearl Street was discussed. At the hearing, the Landmarks Commission found that the historical significance of the property was significant enough to invoke a 90-day demolition delay. The purpose of the delay is to allow time for the developer to come up with an alternate design that includes the original building. See meeting announcement  HERE. Both planning and General Membership voted to recommend OPPOSITION of this project to the ZBA.  The ZBA voted to SUPPORT this project and therefore found that the height and density of the project are allowable. Comments about the project size, design and density of the proposal are not relevant in your emails
33 Pearl CSHCA Timeline:At the October 2 General Membership meeting and the September 12 Planning meeting the proponents for 33 Pearl Street presented their REVISED plans to raze existing single family home and construct a six (6) unit building with eight (8) parking spaces See plans HEREHEREHERE. Proponents had previously presented at the June 13th Planning meeting their proposal for eight (8) units and ten (10) parking spaces. General Membership voted to recommend OPPOSITION of the six (6) unit proposal to the ZBA: Support 7, Opposed 14, Abstain 2. The Planning Committee voted to recommend OPPOSITION of this proposal: Support 3, Opposed 7, Invalid 1. ZBA Voted to APPROVE this proposal.
